Jeremy and I have been married for 17 years. We have 2 biological red headed fire cracker boys ages 13 and 11. The Lord started dealing with us about adopting and adding to our family during the summer of 2010. Jeremy was listening to Dave Ramsey when a commercial came on about "Adopt Us Kids". Later that day he came home and got on the computer and looked the site up. As he was browsing through the many pages of orphans, he asked me to come and take a look. I don't remember saying this, but it sounds like something I would say. I said, "We've already messed up our 2 and we don't need to mess up any more!"
Later that year during September, I attended a Women of Joy conference in Jamestown. When it came time to sign up for the break out sessions, I could not get away from the Adoption class..... It was that day during that class, that I knew it was God's will for Jeremy and I to pray about taking this step of faith.
She's ONE BEAUTIFUL JADE! Follow The Grimm Family on their journey to adopt 4 year old Yi Lin from Yibin City, Sichuan, China. She has lived at Yibin Welfare Institute since she was an infant. Her Chinese name means "One Beautiful Jade". We feel very blessed to have her join our family and be our daughter. What a wonderful gift from God!
